We appreciate your interest in the Manuel D. & Rhoda Mayerson Foundation. If you would like to contact us regarding something other than an application, please email us at The Mayerson Foundation. Eligibility
Grants are only awarded to nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations as defined by Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, to organizations that are public charities under Section 509(a)(1),(2), or (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and to those that comply with the requirement of Section 4945(d)(3) or (4) of the Code. The Foundation does not make grants in support of any non-charitable purpose, such as the attempt to influence legislation or the outcome of any specific public election; or to organizations that promote racial, ethnic or religious disharmony, hatred or violence.

We focus our resources and efforts on communities with which we are very familiar and/or have relationships with trusted partners or where there is a unique concentration of one or more of our target populations.

These communities include but are not limited to:

Cincinnati, OH
Berkley, CA
Boca Raton, FL
Salt Lake City, UT
Israel

In accordance with our membership in INsite, a coalition of grant makers interested in making the facilities they fund more welcoming and accessible, we require that organizations receiving funding from The Manuel D. and Rhoda Mayerson Foundation for support of capital projects with budgets in excess of $1,000,000 have a comprehensive and professional inclusion audit conducted. Inclusion audits provide organizations embarking on a capital project with a customized menu of possibilities regarding how to enhance the inclusion of people with disabilities in their project. An inclusion audit allows the organization to make informed decisions on these matters and determine how and if the audit's recommendations can be incorporated into the capital project's plan. For more information about INsite and inclusion audits visit www.inclusion.org, email info@insitecincinnati.org or call 513-621-7500.
