Community Matters recognizes Donna Mayerson with its Sister Katheryn Ann Connelly Leadership Award

Community Matters recently recognized Donna Mayerson at its Winter Gala on Saturday November 12. Donna was honored with the organization’s Sister Katheryn Ann Connelly Leadership Award for her commitment to the work and efforts of Community Matters. The prestigious award, given once annually, was create in honor of its namesake, Sister Katheryn of the Sisters of Charity and an emerita trustee board member, to honor other fellow community residents and volunteers who demonstrate a dedicated ongoing commitment to advance Community Matter’s role in supporting the lives of individuals in lower Price Hill.

Donna has been an advocate, supporter and financial support of Community Matters for many years and embraces the organization’s authentic and unique approach to working alongside neighbors to build a thriving and more just community in which all people have the tools to achieve their goals, access education, pursue leadership opportunities, and live and work in vibrant spaces.
