Donna & Neal Mayerson: 2018 Philanthropists of the Year

Drs. Neal and Donna Mayerson have been awarded the 2018 Philanthropists of the Year honor bestowed by the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Greater Cincinnati!

Awarded on Thursday, November 8 at Music Hall Ballroom, Drs. Neal & Donna Mayerson accepted the award after a video was shown highlighting their work.

 

 

The Scripps Center Gives Campaign was also initiated as is a building-wide giving campaign to celebrate National Philanthropy Day, Giving Tuesday, and the month of giving.  The Scripps Center is one of the last Class A buildings actually owned and operated by a local family, the Mayersons.  It is also the home of the Louis Taft Semple Foundation, the Scripps Howard Foundation, and the Manuel D. and Rhoda Mayerson Foundation.  We are proud to share with you, our Scripps Center family, the news that Drs. Neal and Donna Mayerson have been awarded the 2018 Philanthropists of the Year honor bestowed by the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Greater Cincinnati!

To celebrate this news and the month of philanthropy & giving, the entire Scripps Center family was invited to participate in a building wide initiative as a collective contribution to the upcoming Giving Tuesday.

Tenants will together choose three non-profits to support and donate to by Tuesday, November 13. Once the votes have been tallied, we will announce the three chosen non-profits.  All tenants will be encouraged to make a donation of any size in November. We will send information to each company with details. The total contributions received will be split evenly among the three non-profits chosen by your voting.

The building will join fellow philanthropists for a celebration in the Scripps Center Lobby on Tuesday, November 27.
